The handy location of Pir Sohawa and Daman-e-Koh has come to light recently, resulting in substantial traffic congestion during peak hours. Tourists’ food left behind attracts monkeys frequently.

Many different types of species of animals and birds reside in the forests of the highlands. Cheetahs frequently come down from Murree’s higher slopes during snowfall. The general public can use this popular spot for outdoor pursuits including hiking and picnicking. Tourism promotional efforts in this region are done by the local government and the Pakistani government’s forestry department.
