Sanam Saeed and Azaan Sami Khan are preparing for an intriguing joint endeavor on television

Singer and music composer Azaan Sami Khan, who is still going strong with his sophomore album AZAAN, has released a visualizer for one of his songs, Ham Dam. The song features actress Sanam Saeed and is about a timeless romance that is infused with the enchantment of the monsoon.

With the visualizer of Ham Dam, the singer—who has a talent for transporting his audience to many countries and eras through music videos—once again transports his audience to the 1970s.

Khan adopts a compelling 70s persona in this video, complete with longer hair, a hat, and an outfit that encapsulates the spirit of the time.

The single masterfully captures the mood of monsoon season as it takes place outside a traditional theater, with rains softly falling around Khan as he sits on a bench and sadly looks at a picture of an actress from those days, played by Saeed.

A sign for the film Ham Dam looms enormous in the background, adding to the suspense. Khan’s eyes lock on the pictures, and they come to life, dancing in a surreal sequence that expresses his need and love for the actress in his head.

The narrative takes a charming turn when the stunning actress herself shows up in a car. Khan quickly opens the car door and uses an umbrella to protect her from the rain. It’s a very kind gesture. As he walks her down the red carpet toward the premiere, their eyes contact and a tender moment between them develops.

The story moves smoothly into an engrossing film screening that captures the essence of Pakistani cinema’s golden age and is reminiscent of Lollywood hits from the 1970s. The visualizer ends with credits rolling in a distinctly 1970s fashion, paying homage to the history of filmmaking while the actress’ film takes center stage.

Azaan Sami Khan, known for his extraordinary storytelling, once again transports the audience to another time with Hum Dum.

With meticulous attention to detail, Khan not only captures the essence of Monsoon’s romantic charm but also lets viewers relive the magic of her 70s films. Khan continues to blur the line between reality and fantasy in his unique way, making Hum His Dam a timeless and immersive experience for his fans and other music lovers. The lyrics for Ham Dam were written by Khan in collaboration with S.K.

Kalish is responsible for the orchestral arrangements by Davide Rossi,  known for his work with international artists such as Coldplay. The track visualizer was directed and produced by Nabeel Qureshi and Fizza Meerza of Filmwala Pictures. They also directed Khan’s video for Beby, the visualizer for Husn-e-Jaan, and the trailer for the album AZAAN.
