Samahni Town:

Samahni Town is about 28.6 km away from Bhimber and is short distance away from the ruins of the ancient Mughal road which links Bhimber with Noshera and ultimately with the rest of the kashmir. In Mughal era samahni town used to be the centre of social, cultural and trading activities. The town consisted of mixed communities of Hindus and Muslims. But Hindus were in a better position than Muslims. They dominated most of the businesses in the towns. There was an old market which was almost 100 meters long with all kinds of shops on its both sides. Hindus had built their Mandar in the center (heart) of the market for worshipping their Gods and also for their social events they had two Dharam Shalas just outside the town. Samahni town also benefited a lot from stone crafting as it had some of the best craftsmen in the entire valley. One can still find the scattered ruines of such finely carved stones to remind us of their extremely valuable skills.

This town is connected with both Mirpur & Gujrat through all-weather black top roads.

Jandi Chontra Town:

This Jandi Chontra town is located at almost 17 kilometers from Bhimber, 12 km away from Samahni town and 67 kilometers from Mirpur. This town is about 1000 meters above sea level and is an eastern gateway to Samahni valley.

Due to its high altitude this hill not only gives a panoramic view of Dab valley (an off shoot of the main valley) but it also takes you as far as the snowcapped mountains (Pir punjal range) of occupied Kashmir (also known as Jammu Kashmir). Although these scenes could be observed with the naked eye but the use of binoculars will have an added advantage to the captivity of such beautiful scenes. The shrine of the Sufi Saint Sheikh Baba Shadeed is also located here.

Baghsar town located in the district of Bhimber, Pakistan also known as the land or water and gardens is located about 31.5 km from Bhimber and 12 km in the east of Samahni town and almost at the same distance from Jandi Chontra town. It is about 975 m high from the sea level and has a quite an atmosphere which attracts tourists from all over the world. Baghsar has been one of the favorite places of Mughal Kings for its quiet and claiming atmosphere. Because of this Mughal Kings built a fort in Baghsar which is known as Baghsar Fort which also attracts the tourists because of its beauty and amazing architectural design.
