The meeting place of three mountain ranges the Himalayas, the Karakoram, and the Hindu Kush range lies in Pakistan’s northernmost region Gilgit Baltistan. Due to extreme weather changes in the weather flight delays or even cancellations are a normal and frequent occurrence in these areas. Because of this, there have been no major aircraft accidents on this route.
